I got up at 9:00 amped to get out of Jersey. I trucked it down the New Jersey Turnpike. Honestly, not as bad as everyone made it out to be. The whole not being able to pump your own Gas thing was kinda weird. Are you suppose to tip the sketchy looking dude for pumping for you? Maybe someone from Dirty Jerz can answer that for me. Maryland and DC was by far the gnarliest as far as traffic. I made it through all that bustle into Virginia. Decided that with 10 hours left till St. Augustine, I was gonna charge it all the was back. If you have ever driven towards South Carolina on I95, you have no doubt seen 10 billion billboards for South of The Boarder in South Carolina. There was no way I was gonna miss this place. When I got there, it looked more like a scene for a bad Steven King movie than an amusement park. Everything was empty. There were plenty of sweet statues though so I grabbed a few shots. The next 4 1/2 hours were pretty uneventful. I am lucky I drove back because as soon as I got to St Augustine the van started acting up so unfortunately, instead of charging to Miami I am gonna hang and get the Van looked at. South Beach will have to wait until tomorrow.
