6:55 am: Wave height looks a little big bigger than this time yesterday. Waves knee high with some occasional larger set waves. It’s semi-glassy this morning with a light SW early this morning. The marine forecast calling for offshore SW winds @ 10 knots today. On the local buoy the early morning wave height measurement is 2.6 feet at 15 seconds up from yesterdays 1.6 feet at 14 seconds. 7:55 am: Early morning photos are up in box #1 and you can see some larger set waves over knee high at least thigh high, with glassy surface conditions. The size of the swells on the buoys offshore have trended up overnight, hence the increase along the beach. The tide is going out right now. What spots will be breaking as we head into low tide? Hard to tell as the sandbars are changing all the time and what spot is not breaking well one day, may be breaking well on the next swell. Look around, as there should be some fun wavs this morning at key sandbars. At least better than the last couple of days…
