6:45 am: Wave height is a little smaller @ 1 to occasionally 2 feet this morning. The wind variable and was SSE @ 10 knots, but could go temporarily offshore . The marine forecast calls for the wind to be onshore SE today. On the local buoy the early morning wave height measurement is 2.6 feet at 8 seconds down from yesterdays 3.6 feet at 7 seconds. 7:25 am: Early morning photos are up in box #1 and you can see there are some waves for your Saturday. Smaller overall, but there are some knee high to thigh high waves to be found. It’s a little mixed up and wonky this morning as hte swell has not cleaned up much. After the tide bottoms all the way out (around 9:30 am) and starts pushing in, possibly we could see some improvement. The hope is the wind will cooperate and not go onshore too soon….

12:30 pm: There is a bit of a lumpy, bumpy wave out there for your midday report. Waves are mostly in the knee high to maybe thigh high range with just fair form. The waves are fairly light onshore, coming out of the NE @ 8 knots. These light onshore winds are making for some surface texture, but it’s not too bad overall. If you’re looking to surf today, bring out a board that can handle the mushy form.

Left up from yesterday:

7:10 pm: New evening photos are up in box #3 and you can see it’s super choppy! A little smaller too so time for a downgrade this evening. Surfers out charging the chop and slop and yes that’s Josh Luteran going left in some of the photos. Trying get air and yes he does! Maybe tomorrow it will be glassier and easier to make those air attempts.
