7:15 am: Very chilly at the beach again this morning. Small surf but not as small as yesterday with waves 1 to 1.5 feet in angled north swell waves. The surface conditions are semi-glassy to glassy near shore with this morning with offshore NW winds early. The marine forecast is calling for NW winds 20-25 knots. On the local buoy the early morning wave height reading is 3.6 feet at 6 seconds down from yesterdays 4.3 feet at 5 seconds. The water temperature is measured at 63.5 degrees at The Pier this morning. View The Surf Station Cam Page here. The morning photos up next….

8:00 am: Early morning photos are up and posted in box #1 and on second look the waves are considerably bigger than yesterday morning at this time. Check out the surfer (whodaguy?) near the end of the slide show dropping in. That waves is easily 2 feet, if not bigger. So will up the size as it’s larger than the early morning call. More like 1-2 feet overall, with some angled knee to waist high waves, with a few freak larger peaks. Glassy waves early with light offshore NW wind.

1:05 pm: New afternoon photos are up and posted in box #2 and you can see the wind has clocked on this Thursday afternoon. So not glassy anymore, more semi-choppy to choppy with overall knee to thigh high waves with an occasional larger set wave than that. Some surfers having fun is what it looks like in the photos…
