Surf Report comments:

7:10 am: The waves are slightly smaller and not near as clean as yesterday. The wind has clock more northerly, crossing up the swell. Wave size 1.5-2 feet, occasionally a little larger in peaky mixed up swell early. On the local buoy the early morning wave height reading is 6.6 feet at 6 seconds, up from yesterdays 3.9 feet at 12 seconds. The marine forecast is calling for strong N winds today. The water temperature is measured at 61 degrees at The Pier this morning. View The Surf Station Cam Page here.

9:30 am: Early morning photos are up and posted in box #1 and you can see the ocean is sort of crossed up , but still some spray off the rights as the ocean tries to remain clean. The wind has clocked more north since these photos were taken so it’s becoming choppy now as the cold north wind picks up…

2:45 pm: New afternoon photos are up and posted in box #2 and you can see it’s quite choppy now. Lots fo cross bump from the north with the sideonshore wind. Waves around rib high on some peaks. Overall the swell is dropping some….
