According to StAugustine.com, dredging of St. Augustine Inlet was approvedby a vote of 3-2 and will begin in September.

ST. AUGUSTINE BEACH — St. Augustine Port, Waterway & Beach District board of directors voted this week to contribute $500,000 of its reserves to the dredging of the St. Augustine Inlet, which will become a hazard to navigation if not cleared of encroaching sand.” Read the full article here.
The dredge is great for about a month and then after that, it messes up the sandbars, completely and it becomes flat for 6 months
