There’s an interesting new face on the 2014 World Championship Tour and no, we’re not talking about Dion Atkinson. The Drug Aware Margaret River Pro has been upgraded from an ASP Prime event and called up to the big leagues this year. It’ll be Margaret’s debut on the WCT – aren’t you excited?
Taj Burrow, for one, is. Taj grew up half an hour north of the wave and for the first time in his illustrious career, he’ll be surfing a WCT event by day and sleeping in his own bed by night.
Meanwhile, fellow Australian Josh Kerr is looking to shake a big result out of Margaret’s infamous bowl. He’s quite familiar with West Oz and even more familiar with her air wind. In 21Days, we follow both surfers as they prepare for April’s big event.”
