Over the past four days, Surf Station team rider Braeden Kopec succeeded in advancing through every elimination round in two divisions at the NSSA East Coast Championships ultimately placing 3rd overall in the Open Mini Grom division for the entire US east coast. He also podiumed in another division taking 5th overall. His results qualified him to compete in the NSSA National Championships in June at Huntington Beach, California.
On Saturday he was also recognized for his success during the 2015-16 competition season and he was awarded Season Champion for two divisions for NSSA’s Southeast North Region.
While out in California in June Braeden will also be competing in the Volcom TCT Tour’s Championship event. His performance at one of the Tour’s east coast stops qualified him for one of only 32 coveted spots in the world.
