Dear local St. Augustine residents and loyal Surf Station Customers,
Most of you have witnessed first hand or have seen and heard about the the absolutely devastating effects Hurricane Matthew had on the East Coast of Florida. Here is a link to some drone footage of the A1A road destruction in Flagler Beach – CLICK HERE Many businesses and homes were affected by this massive storm and are still without power and internet – the Surf Station and it’s employees included.
The Surf Station, Girl Next Door and Surf Station II surf shop sustained some minor property damage but for the most part we were very lucky. Many of our employee’s homes and families were not so lucky. Our heart and support goes out to all who were affected by this catastrophic storm.
We have received many emails and voicemails from local residents and online store customers over the past week regarding a wide range of topics from local weather info, Hurricane updates and photos, online store orders and more. We value and appreciate your business and concern and are doing the best we can to pick up the pieces, and rebuild. Please understand that the store and employees are mostly without power and internet and we are running on a very minimal crew. We will do our best to return any phone calls, emails, texts, etc as soon as we possibly can.
If you placed an online order with our store within the past week, the order is most likely going to be delayed in processing and shipping. Not only are our computers down, but many of our shipping companies like UPS and FedEx are not delivering. We will do our best to get back to business as soon as we can and get you your items. We sincerely apologize for the inconvenience and if you have any questions you can email us at support@surf-station.com
St. Augustine is the oldest city and also one of the strongest. We will come together and re-build our great city and get back to enjoying the place we all love and call home.
Sincerely,
-Surf Station Team
