So we are starting a new feature here @ Surf Station and it’s called the ‘Surf Station Photo of the Day’.
This will be a daily feature where we will post one of the better photos from that day, describe it, and talk a little story about the photo, the person in the photo, and a little more, depending on where the picture leads us. We may talk about the photographer behind camera, the place, the time, history, and much more!
Now, to do this, we would love to involve YOU! Send in a photo and the story behind it and we may run with it for you! Send to tory@surf-station.com and good luck!
Ideally the photos sent in will be of St.Augustine or the areas around us here in Florida. But we are not going to limit the ‘Surf Station Photo of the Day.’ Many of the SS viewers are now in remote areas of the world 🌎 so we will run photos from all over the planet in the next year. Yes it will be over 300 photos comin at ya during 2017!👏
Now, with the above said, here is the SS’s first ‘Surf Station Photo of the Day’ – We gotta start with the most achieved and highest rated surfer in the History of St. Augustine! He was surfing at his home break today (well, every break in town is his home break) and it’s of Gabe Kling @thor904 dropping in close to the beach & the tube – at the same time! How can this be?😂 The surf was so fun today!!!👏👏👏
