I started surfing in the North Florida area in 1976. I lived in Orange Park. So when you put boards on your surf racks you got strange looks from people. I bought my first surf board at Island Surf shop. Back then you got skunked a lot if you listened and followed the weather man. Sure you could try dialing the surf report but after getting the busy signal 25 times it was finally time to give up. Thanks to technology and some one who cares about the surfing community we now have ways to know when there is surf. First and foremost Tory you can please some of the people some of the time but you can’t please all of the people all of the time. Thank you for putting out the quality product that you do. I wish we could go back to the days of the message board. I met a few friends along the way via the message board. Happy Thanksgiving to everyone including the surf station. Stay positive and be thankful every day for what you have.
