February 3rd Surf Recap
After a slow week of waves, we started seeing an uptick in swell mid week. Local swell began to filter in yesterday, with the waves increasing overnight for some thigh to waist high waves this Thursday morning. Winds were blowing side-shore out of the SSE at just 5 knots, making for some semi-clean conditions. After checking out our new live camera, Surf Station team rider Noah Brownell decided to take advantage of the increase in swell with a high tide morning session. He was joined by shop veterans Zander Morton and Matt Ollis.
The high tide made for some slower waves, but the guys were able to find a few to make the session. You can watch a surf recap video of this morning’s session below!
