During the summer of 2022, Surf Station team riders Noah Brownell and Kai Delorenzo spent 6 months down south of the border in Nicaragua working with Nicaragua Surf Report (NSR) and surfing their brains out. Nicaragua is the country just north of Costa Rica in Central America, and the area around Popoyo boasts some of the most consistent and best quality surf in the world. A variety of different breaks – beach breaks, reefs and a few points – light up daily depending on conditions. With over 300 days of offshore winds, it is usually just a matter of tide and swell size and direction to find the perfect spot to paddle out!
