Ross Howatt and I had a great time down there. Surfing everywhere from Jobos down to Rincon (got that Rincon vibe bra!) and everywhere in between. We never got it epic but wearing trunks and getting sunburnt surfing head high waves was an awesome release from this terrible winter. I predominantly was riding a 5’10″x 18 1/8″x 2 1/8″ Rookie that pretty much covered everything we were riding. Worked so well in everything from waist to chest high Rincon to way overhead Surfer’s Beach. Ross was killing it on his “Bushpig”.. a 5’10″x 18 1/4″x 2 1/8″ chunky Proton. We had back up boards but we never really needed them.. had a great time and can’t wait to go somewhere else warm!
