I flew into L.A. yesterday and had a beautiful afternoon with friends in a very chilly ocean. They reckon it’s warm, but, not so much.
It’s gray and a bit windy today– a south wind which would make sailing southward a bit tricky for we inexperienced folk. Air temp is around 66 degrees, with the water just a bit cooler than that. It feels like quite a departure from summertime in St. Augustine.
With such an amazing crew of humans though, I have nothing but excitement for the adventure ahead.
