So I guess when I left off, I was waiting in Charlotte for my flight to Boston. We got loaded on our plane to leave and as we were about to pull us away, they found something dripping from the wing. Long story short (2 1/2 hours later) they found out it was a fuel leak and we would have ended up on the evening news if we had taken off. So I finally made it into Boston around 8:30. Met up with the New England CI Rep Dan and he got me hooked up with the bus. He suggested that since I was a noob to this whole driving down the entire east coast thing, that I should go ahead and tackle connecticut and NYC tonight. Great idea. I got lost somewhere in the Bronx with a van full of surfboards, asked a homeless guy named Leon for directions. Somehow by the grace of GOD I made it out of NYC on the bumpiest stretch of interstate I have ever seen. I ended up in Newark Jersey, which by the way, is one giant oil refinery. I finally pulled into a quaint little Holiday Inn express in Edison. I didn’t get too many pictures last night as I was terrified for the better part of 5 hours.
Epic.
sick!
