The surf station surf report team tests out new camera gear with some Hurricane Lee leftovers
Chase Jarvis once said, “the best camera is the one that’s with you”. While that may be true, there’s still a special sort of feeling to getting your hands on new gear. After getting my hands on a new (to me) Canon 100-400, I got a text from Surf Station alumni Evan Brownell that the surf had cleaned up midday. He’s the sort of guy who doesn’t exactly have the tendency to overhype the waves, so when he gives the call, it’s time to head to the beach.
