Nathan Florence and Friends at All Time Jaws | Massive Paddle In Barrels
January is always a big time of the year out in Hawaii, and going into 2023 the Pacific has gone into overdrive. As one of the biggest swells in 15 years pounded California last weekend, the call was made to green light the Eddie Aikau Memorial Contest at Waimea on Oahu earlier this week. Unfortunately windy onshore conditions forced the Eddie to be postponed, leading top big wave surfers like Nathan Florence to hop a short flight to Maui. As it turned out, the wind was light offshore on Maui, and with 10′ @ 20 seconds on the local buoy and building all morning, it was game on for Jaws!
