Friday June 20th is International Surfing Day. We are celebrating all day by going surfing, showing our beaches some love, and watching a surf movie!
Love your beach! Join us at the St. Augustine Pier (south side) from 9 to 11 am for a beach cleanup. We will provide buckets and AnJ Recycling will be there to haul away what we collect. There will be giveaways from Patagonia, Volkswagen and others.
Go Surfing! The Surf Station will be offering 1/2 price rentals on International Surfing Day so you can get out and catch some waves.
Watch and Learn: At 8pm that evening, we will be showing the film Hawaiian: The Legend of Eddie Aikau in the Surf Station parking lot. Eddie Aikau is one of surfing’s most beloved members, known for saving lives and charging in big surf.
