Two day Pro/Am Surfing Competition & Earth Day Festival
family friendly activities, community environmental awareness, exploring surfing as a lifestyle
Rincón, PR (April 3, 2018) – La Primavera Pro-Longboard Surfing Competition & Earth Day Festival returns to the surfing capital of the Caribbean this April 21-22. Enveloped in palm trees and set along the shores of the clear, warm waters of the tropical Atlantic, this event is one to look forward to, for the international pro longboard surfing community, tourism, and local residents of Puerto Rico.
“Following the wake of Hurricane Maria – the powerful Category 4 storm that destroyed much of Puerto Rico’s delicate infrastructure September 20, 2017 – we need events like these to show the world that we are still here, we are rebuilding stronger than before, our doors are open and the people who chose resilience over defeat are here to stay”. -Amy Murphree Event Co-director
