This Labor Day weekend was full of surprises. The swell wasn’t a surprise but the size was. The wind didn’t help out much either with the 15kt onshore winds. It was fun though and that is all that matters!

I went out on Saturday and went on the northside of the St. Augustine Beach Pier. It was disappointing so I moved to the south side and it was firing! So many lefts and sections! So much fun!

This Monday brought a HUGE suprise swell! Shoulder high sets easy!! It was insane. I was in chest to neck deep water without fins. I’m a rookie :-). There was also a HUGE shelf cloud that rolled through and scared a few people out of the water. It was super cool though!
