We have a lot of locally made items here at the shop. Support your local shop, support your local shaper, support your local jewelry and knitted hat makers. We also have locally produced honey.
Here’s our local gift guide from the Surf Station —
Josh Autrey and Warrior Surfboards are made right here in St. Augustine by father and son duo Burgess and Josh Autrey. Whether it’s classic noseriding, midlength cruising, speedy lines on the quad fish or performance shred rippin’ on the thruster, these boards reflect the versatility of their makers.
For other Florida surfboards we have Cannibal boards made by AJ Finan, CC Rider shaped by East Coast legend Claude Codgen, surfboars by Matt Kechle, and a few offerings from Josh Miller.
Lanie’s Beanies are knitted by shop employee Tom Kiernan’s mom. They are perfect for Florida winters and come in all sorts of color combos.
Salt Run Designs is jewelry by Laurie Morton (team rider and employee Zander Morton’s mom). She hand processes the metals, the results of which are unpredictable, meaning each piece is unique.
Peaceful Mind Jewelry is Lisa Autrey’s jewelry line. Her Native American heritage is a major influence on these designs, utilizing natural materials like leather and feathers.
Local Surf Station Honey is made by the generous bees of St. Augustine, kept by Gayle Prevatt. Many say taking local honey daily helps with allergies. Even if you live outside of the area, it’s nice just to have a taste of St. Augustine.
