BRAVE Summit 2022 Fosters Mental Wellness
Flagler Health+ is pleased to announce that the 2nd annual BRAVE Summit is scheduled for March 30, 2022 at The St. Augustine Amphitheatere. The Summit aims to open a dialogue with teens to address the stigma associated with mental health and encourage teens to learn about how to foster mental wellness.
The Mission: To provide pathways to support systems for those young people who are struggling or know someone who is struggling, so that they feel equipped to ask for and provide the support that is needed.
This will be a FREE, LIVE event, accessible to all high school students, in Putnam, Clay, Flagler, St. Johns, and Nassau counties. The event will take place at the St. Augustine Amphitheatre. This event will include free food, entertainment, music, and speakers all centered around the singular message of breaking down stigma and talking about the issues affecting teens the most.
Why Should You Attend?
The Summit will provide a safe place to talk to other high school students in the area about mental health and how to breakdown stigma and normalize conversations about mental health.
Keynote speaker, Johnny Crowder (CEO of CopeNotes) will speak about his on journey with mental health and how he got the tools needed to treat his mental health diagnosis. We will hear from some of TikToks most popular mental health advocates. There will be live music from Folk is People , DJ Gexella, and more local bands and artists!
