Yesterday I traveled down south to New Smyrna Beach Inlet. I shot for five hours from the beach. The St. Augustine buoy readings was 1.7ft @ 11 seconds and the Cape Canaveral buoy was at 3.3ft @ 10 seconds. New Smyrna is in the middle, so I estimate that the buoy readings off of NSB would likely be around 2.6ft @ 10 seconds. No matter what, waist-chest high surf came pouring in all day. The winds were out of the southwest and strengthened throughout the time I shot. I shot from 9:30am – 2:30pm and I took over 1800 photos. Below are some of the shots I took. Enjoy 🙂
