Introducing Surf Station’s newest surfboard model – “The Super 8”
The Super 8 is The Surf Station’s answer to the question “I’m learning to surf, what board should I start out with?”
What you want is a board glassed a little stronger; about 2 feet over your height (the board can be as little as 1 foot over, or as much as 4 feet, but 2-3 feet over your head is ideal). A surfboard with good nose rocker (nose dives can actually be fun, but lets keep them to a minimum as water up the nose drains back out yer nose at dinner!)
You want a surfboard that is a little wider and thicker (for float and glide), and the construction we have chosen is traditional fiberglass. Fiberglass is what many of the best surfers in the world say rides the best, and it does. We also chose to put Future Fins in this tri fin set up, for strength and performance. The rails are soft and forgiving, and the tail of this board is a squash tail design, with no sharp edges
This surfboard is the perfect beginner board. It is also good for intermediate (or even advanced) surfers who want a surfboard that will last a little longer, and is looking for a smooth & easy glide and ride. We put Surf Station love in this new design.
