Yes, We Jumped on the Pit Viper Train
Right around the beginning of summer 2021, something strange started happening. A peculiar new style of eyewear began showing up on the faces of our favorite shop groms and surf camp instructors. They were bright, oversized, shield-like frames oddly reminiscent of a set of ski goggles from the 1980’s.
What the heck are those things? Us older surfers wondered.
