On my way home from Puerto Rico and I’m realizing it was a great call for Rip Curl to hold the contest there this week. I was laughing that it would be flat for the contest, but the weather pulled through and there were some fun waves all week prior to the trials. With the contest coming in, I decided to hit the wes tcoast first to knock out some Vans visual work before it got too hectic, then head back to San Juan to finish the week strong. ASG played a free show Thursday night and I got Boracho (drunk) as I got to hang with some of the great people from Volcom and Electric that I hadn’t seen for a while. Overall, it was a great week of work, surf, and catching up with good people in a great place.
