But in this episode of “Amp Sessions”, from Indonesia’s Desert Point, these grinding left tubes were every bit as magical as they appear. What it takes to actually get to them is another story–one you won’t find in this two and a half minute rip clip.
Desert’s is one of the most remote surf locations in Indonesia. It’s a place where hardcore tube hounds camp for weeks (and months) on end, with no power, no running water, and certainly no medical help when shit hits the fan. Knowing all that, for the everyman, Desert’s is probably best enjoyed just like this–behind the safety of a computer screen. Because we can still dream, right?
