8:00 am: Surprisingly the swell has held overnight. The waves are looking much smaller on the camera than it actually is in the water. We’re seeing mostly waist high waves with some occasionally larger sets and very clean conditions. Our local winds are blowing out of the W @ just 7 seconds, with our local buoy readings holding overnight, dropping just a bit to 4.6 feet @ 10 seconds. I would definitely say to get out there today, the waves are looking so fun! Here is a link to the new Ponce Inlet Buoy. You can watch the waves firsthand on our live surf cam page.

Left from yesterday…

9:20 am: The fog has surprisingly still stuck around this morning, but the waves have held since yesterday. There are still some shoulder high sets out there, with good form with the light offshore winds. We had a high tide pass at 7:55 this morning, so it’s still very full out there at report time. The waves should improve once that tide backs off and there’s not so much water out there.

12:00 pm: There are continued waves for your midday report, with the waves breaking more hollow with the lower tide. Waves are in the waist high range mostly, with the occasional chest to maybe shoulder high set. The conditions have remained clean, with our local winds clocking in at just 1 knot coming out of the East. There are still plenty of waves to be had at your favorite low tide sandbar, with a low tide coming up at 2 this afternoon. The winds are expected to switch onshore later on this afternoon and evening, so I would say to get on it before that happens if you can.
