7:25 am: Real early, waves look similar in size to yesterday. Light onshores so semi-glassy to semi-choppy surface conditions. Wave size @ 2-3 feet with some slightly larger set waves than that. The wind is light from the ENE @ 3-4 knots. On our local buoy the early morning reading is 4.3 feet at 11 seconds down slightly from yesterdays 4.6 feet at 13 seconds. 7:40 am: Early morning ‘before sunrise‘ photos are up and posted in box #1 and you can see it’s a little lumpy and not real organized for for your before sunrise look. A few surfers out giving it a go and bet it’s fun out starting the day with a surf session. Hoping the cannonball jellyfish have gone away… please let us know if you hear of more or less, jellyfish in the water

8:30 am: More morning ‘during and after sunrise‘ photos are up in box #1 and on this second look, yes it looks like the swell is dropping some. Not as big as yesterday as the buoy wave hight measurements begin to decline offshore. It’s probably about time as we have had quite a long run of surf…

1:00pm: Its looking to be waist to chest high with some bigger peaks at times. The buoys 3.6ft at 11 seconds coming from the ENE. The water temp is 76 with the air temp at 76 to. Wind is 5kts out of the NE with 6kts gusts. High tide was at 9:43am | Low is at 4:03pm. Overall some fun peaks if you got nothing else to do. ALSO make sure to come by the surfstation tomorrow evening for the halloween bash!!

7:00 pm: New evening photos are up and posted in box #3 and you can see we still have some occasional fun waves as we get closer to dark. Onshore winds so somewhat choppy but the waves jack up on the inside at times with some fun lefts and rights. Still waves, and looks like some waves will still be left in the morning…. over and out….

The week-long onshore flow combined with TS Tammy’s lingering ground swell produced sizeable surf for the Tommy Tant Memorial in Flagler Beach with wind lighter for the contest!. Dean’s Surf Forecast carries through the contest into Halloween (trick or treat?) and will be detailing the next sizeable swell building through the second half of the work week.
