7:05 am: Plenty of swell this morning with wave height @ 2-3+ feet. It’s semi-glassy and somewhat lumpy this morning with a light sideshore to sideoffshore wind early. On the local buoy the early morning wave height reading is 4.6 feet at 9 seconds up in size from yesterdays 4.3 feet at 10 seconds. The marine forecast is calling for moderate E winds today. The water temperature is measured at 69.6 degrees at The Pier. View The Surf Station Cam Page here. The morning photos up next….

8:00 am: Early morning photos are up and posted in box #1 and you can see we still have waves – plenty of waves – as we start out the (shorted) work week. Not as clean as it was yesterday morning, when the wind went more offshore and the surf got quite clean for a short time then. Sorta lumpy this morning and not real organized, but with the buoy ticked upward there is plenty of hope for some really fun wavs this morning. There should be some easily chest high waves at key spots. Check your favorite sandbar as the tide will be pushing in all morning and into the early afternoon…

11:15 am: After misty somewhat foggy conditions earlier the sun is starting to shine through and reveal more of the surf. The wind has shifted onshore so not much a of clean up. Surf Reporter River (from gromsurfreport) is going to come in soon and give us a complete updated surf report.

12:00pm – It’s looking to be waist to chest high with shoulder high sets. The buoys at 5.6ft at 8 seconds out of the ENE. Temp outside is 71.2 with the water temp at 70.3. Wind is 10kts with 11kts gusts out of the ENE. High tide is 1:33pm | Low tide was 7:12am. Overall looking like another fun day of surf!

5:55 pm: New evening photos are up and posted in box #3 and you can see we have plenty of swell as it’s getting dark. Onshore winds and real choppy surf on the outside, but the inside had some smooth faces and super fast lefts and rights. Some crowded waves….watch out for drop ins! Overall though, looks like some fun surfing going on
