7:05 am: The weather is yet cooler at the beach early this morning. Cloudy early with the waves only around 1/2 a foot to 1 foot. It’s semi-glassy with cool NW winds @ 7-9 knots. The marine forecast is calling for the wind to be NW @ 15-20 knots. On the local buoy the early morning wave height reading is 4.6 feet at 5 seconds down from yesterdays 4.9 feet at 10 seconds. The water temperature is measured at 66.7 degrees at The Pier this morning. View The Surf Station Cam Page here. The morning photos up next….

12:25pm: It’s looking to be shin high with knee high sets. The buoys 4.6ft at 6 seconds out of the North. Temp outside is 51.6 with water temp at 65. Wind is North West at 10 kts with 14kts gusts. Wind chill is 47.7 brrr. High tide was 8:23am | Low tide is 2:46pm. Overall it’s pretty much flat and cool for florida. I’d wait till there is swell out there.

2:00 pm: More mid day photos are up and posted in box #3 taken from 10th Street about the same time River was taking his box #2 photos from inside the state park. You can see it’s a little cleaner south of the pier on these north wind days. The coast is ever so slightly angled and it can make a big difference. So in this case the State Park was choppier than the 10th Street area. Both places are small surf overall.….
