6:15 am: A chilly start to your Monday. Skies will clear and the wind will be gusty. Cold tonight and chilly again tomorrow with a high of just 63 on Tuesday

Surf Report comments:

7:05 am: Very much cooler at beach this morning. Yesterday’s ESE swell is pretty much gone, and replacing it is the beginning start up of a new N swell. On the local buoy the early morning wave height reading is 4.9 feet at 5 seconds, up from yesterdays 3.6 feet at 13 seconds. The marine forecast is calling for gusty chilly NW winds this morning. The water temperature is measured at 65.5 degrees at The Pier this morning. View The Surf Station Cam Page here. The morning photos up next….

7:45 am: Early morning photos are up and posted in box #1 and you can see the angle in the swell from the north. Small overall with way larger swells way offshore heading south of there. Wave size along the beach is around 1 to 1.5 feet …. knee to thigh high in clean glassy waves angling in from the north with the N swell wrap in. The swell will increase and come in more as the week goes on, see what Dean has to say about that here.
