Surf Report comments:

7:10 am: The waves are similar in size and choppy with the wind continuing onshore . Wave size 2 feet, occasionally a little larger to 3 feet. On the local buoy the early morning wave height reading is 5.6 feet at 12 seconds, similar in size from yesterdays 6.2 feet at 11 seconds . The marine forecast is calling for sideonshore N winds today. The water temperature is measured at 58.8 degrees at The Pier this morning. View The Surf Station Cam Page here.

7:55 am: New photos taken before, during, and after sunrise this morning are up in box #1 and you can see the waves are semi-choppy to choppy and not very organized. It’s a great sunrise, and today has potential, especially if you can put up with some chop. Wave size looks around thigh to rib high with some occasional larger set waves, likely to chest thigh. Bumpy with the onshore winds…. .

1:45 pm: New afternoon photos are up and posted in box #2 and you can see we have a little bit more size to the waves since this morning. Some chest high peaks at the pier and at times looks quite fun. See the surfer in the photos whacking it backside….
