Surf Report comments:

7:20 am: The waves are similar in size or a tad smaller than yesterday. A cool NNE wind, but it’s light, allowing for semi-glassy to semi-choppy surface conditions early. Wave size 2 to occasionally up to around 3 feet on some set waves On the local buoy the early morning wave height reading is 4.9 feet at 13 seconds, down slightly from yesterdays 5.2 feet at 12 seconds. The marine forecast is calling for light onshore winds today. The water temperature is measured at 59 degrees at The Pier this morning, for the seocnd day in a row. 8:00 am: Early morning photos taken before, during, and after sunrise are up box #1 and you can see we still have surf for your Saturday. A little wonky but overall there are some fun waves to be had. Wave size looks around waist to rib high or so and lumpy but semi-glassy for the most part. As the long as the wind doesn’t pick up, we will have ‘not too choppy’ surf. The water is chilly at 59 degrees – time to crack out the fullsuit for sure…

Tomorrow, Christmas Eve, our hours will be: Surf Station 2 will close at 2 pm. The main store will be open until 7 pm.
