8:15 am: Early morning photos are up and posted in box #1 and you can see we have more size than yesterday. It’s choppy and mixed up this morning with rapidly changing conditions at the beach. The rain should blow out of here at some point and eventually the onshore winds will shift offshore. So later would should get a clean up to these messy conditions. Right now, wave size is hard to tell with no one out, but based on the buoy readings offshore it should be at least waist to chest high. The current may pick up from the south

12:45 pm: There’s some size out there for your midday report, with waves in the 3 foot range with occasionally larger sets. It’s still pretty blustery down at the beach midday, with our local winds blowing out of the S @ 21 knots. It’s still looking pretty disorganized and drifty at report time, with some surfers struggling to make it out past the inside. The waves look to be in the waist high range with some shoulder high sets. It looks like the wind may be easing throughout the day, so there’s a bit of hope that the waves will get more organized as the day goes on.

7:00 pm Evening Report: New Late afternoon (3:45 pm from 10th Street) and Evening (just before dark from The Pier) photos are up in box #3 and you can see the waves cleaned quote quite a bit since earlier today. Way better surf with some shoulder high wave with rights pushing up the beach at times. We hope you caught some of it!
Will it hold for tomorrow? Reporter David Smart will be in early-ealry in the morning and report what he sees….. over and out…..
