7:20 am: It’s looking much less organized than this time yesterday, with just okay conditions and our local winds currently blowing out of the ESE @ 8 knots. Our local buoy is up a bit from yesterday, currently reading 2.3 feet @ 8 seconds, compared to yesterday’s 2 foot readings. The waves are in the half a foot to maybe one foot range, with crumbly, weak conditions. The waves are looking to be in the shin to maybe knee high range, with a high tide coming up at 8:29 this morning, which will likely make our small scale waves break a little more soft. Overall, there’s a little something out there to ride, but the conditions aren’t great today. You can expect those conditions to change as rain showers push through throughout the day. The marine forecast is calling for west winds today. The water temperature is measured at 59.2 degrees at The Pier this morning. View The Surf Station Cam Page here.

12:30 pm: The wind has switched a bit since early this morning, adding a bit of texture to the waves. Our local winds are blowing out of the N @ 8 knots but it’s still looking pretty organized. The waves continue in the knee to maybe thigh high range, with a low tide approaching at 1:59 this afternoon. It’s looking a little weak with a bit more texture, but there’s still a little longboard wave out there. It’s closing out more with the lower tide, but could improve once that switches later on this afternoon if the winds stay light.
