7:30 am: Cold at the beach this morning . North swell starting up at 1 foot, occasionally larger, and increasing. Our local buoy the early wave height reading is 5.6 feet at 6 seconds, up from yestertdays 2.3 feet at 13 seconds. The marine forecast is calling for strong NW winds today, bringing in very cold air today and tonight. The water temperature is measured at 58 degrees at The Pier this morning. 8:00 am: Early morning photos taken before and after sunrise are up box #1 and you can see we have a northerly angled swell for your Saturday. Cold with lots of north angle to the new swell starting up. Wave size is likely around knee to thigh high and may get bigger, although a lot of the swell is going by us to the south.

4:20 pm: Over 30 new late afternoon photos are up and posted in box #2 and you can see we have super clean lines. They are very small, but very clean. Some fun noseride waves! Mostly around knee high and peeling both left and right at times…
