8:45 am; ok… some of you may be wondering why no dawn patrol photos. Well, for the 1st time in years and years BOTH my cameras are broken in one way or another. It happens. Yes crazy stuff in life happens and the stars can line up for you, or against you at times. Now, with that said I was able to improvise and take photos and video with my IPhone so there are dawn patrol photos posted here and here. The waves are real small, knee high or so on sets. It’s glassy with good form and yes it is ridable, just small and weak overall. A beautiful day setting up.
I’m working on getting at least one of the cameras working again so look for new photos at some point today. Grom reporter River will be doing the mid day to afternoon report, and i think his camera is working…..

12:30 pm: The waves are looking pretty small and weak at report time, just enough for a longboard or a soft top session. Our local winds are currently blowing out of the ESE at just 6 knots, adding just a bit of surface texture. The waves are looking weak, in the shin to maybe thigh high range. Though the waves are small scale, it is rideable at report time, with sunshine on the sand and warmer air temps. We have a low tide coming up at 3:15 this afternoon, so we’re looking at a mid tide at report time without much of a push. If you are looking to get wet, I would bring out a board with plenty of foam before that tide totally bottoms out and the waves get even weaker.

7:25 pm: New evening photos are up and posted in box #3 and you can see we have small scale waves for your Monday evening. Small overall but there are some knee high or so semi-glassy to semi-choppy waves this evening. Clear and cool at the beach, with not many takers for these very small scale waves.
And this will do it until early tomorrow morning… over and out…
