Quote Of The Day
I have nothing new to teach the world. Truth and non-violence
are as old as the hills. AlI I have done is try experiments in
both on as vast a scale as I could.
Yesterday's Quote of the Day
I’ve always thought surfing is a reflection of who you are.

7:00 am: The waves are much larger than yesterday. Wave size @ 2-3++ feet in increased NE windswell. The wind is onshore NE @ 7-11 knots early. The marine forecast calls for the wind to be onshore NE today. Our local buoy the early morning wave height reading is 5.9 feet at 8 seconds way up from yesterdays 2.0 feet at 5 seconds. The water temperature is measured at 84 degrees offshore this morning. You can see the ocean live by viewing The Surf Station Cam Page here.
.
7:55 am: Early morning photos are up and posted in box #1 with way larger surf than 24 hours ago. Choppy NE windswell pushing down the beach. Wave size easily waist to chest high. There are some larger set waves in the shoulder to even head high range on the peak. What you cannot see in the photos is the ripping current. It’s very strong from the north, pushing down the beach. Look for plenty of swell throughout the day today, with onshore winds on top.
.
Left up from last night:
6:40 pm: Evening Note: I didn’t change the text data… just go with this note for your evening update. Much larger surf this evening. 2-3++ feet and very choppy from the north. Some over chest high peaks! Lots of current developing from N to S. Bet there will be some erosion too as the new NE’er settles in.
You can see the ocean live all the way up ’till dark tonight on The Surf Station Cam Page here.
