7:10 am: Yet smaller surf this morning as the swell drops to near flat. Waves around 6 inches to 1 foot on first look. Light offshore winds early. The marine forecast calls for WNW winds early. Our local buoy the early morning wave height reading is 1.3 feet at 10 seconds, down from yesterdays 2.0 feet at 11 seconds. The water temperature is measured at 83 degrees offshore again this morning. You can see the ocean live by viewing The Surf Station Cam Page here.

7:50 am: Early morning photos are up box #1 and you can see ocean looks near flat. Flat to… shin.. to maybe a knee high freak set wave. Not seeing anything bigger than that….

1:45 pm: New afternoon photos are up box #2 and that’s some of the Channel Island Surfboards crew with Mikey February in most of photos. The waves are super small, only up to about 1 foot, but Mikey is ripping them up anyway. A light onshore wind makings for semi-choppy surface conditions with fair overall form to the waves
