Northeast winds of 13 mph with gusts of 19 mph. Do those words sound scary? The first thing that comes to my mind is crappy, blown out surf. That was today’s forecast for Flagler Beach today. Well, me and Ryan Huckabee got lucky! The tide was about two hours before high tide. The inside was firing! It was kind of like Vilano. The outside kinda broke, but when it hit that inside, it wedged up to chest high. The 90 minutes me and Ryan shoot, it was fun. So many sections with the northeasterly swell and even some barrels. Below are my shots from this morning in Flagler Beach with Ryan Huckabee. Enjoy 🙂

Here is one of the few barrels that popped out this morning. I even saw one spit!

He tried to get barreled by this heavy wave. It closed out.
The current was super strong! The northside was extremely hard to catch waves because of this current pushing him into the pier. He caught a few but the southside was firing!
I was stoked when I got this shot! Ryan landed it also. He got some major air for the wave only being about stomach high!
The last wave of the day.
The majority of these shots were from the beach on the southside, since it was firing!
