Be careful out there surfers and swimmers☝️ Yesterday at 16th Street, East Palatka surfer Kerry Keyton was surfing when she felt her foot get taken into a sharks mouth. The shark clamped down and tugged but then let go after a short pull.
Said Kerry: “I had just caught a wave and was getting back on my board. I felt something hit me and it felt like my foot went in a hole. I guess I jerked my foot back and he was letting go since I wasn’t a fish. I paddled to shore and asked this nice kid to call the lifeguard. That kid was heading out to surf but he stopped and really helped me. I cleaned my wound with my water jug and wrapped it in a clean towel. Then the policeman, lifeguard, then EMS got there quickly. Everybody that helped me was great. I give God the ultimate credit for helping me and keeping me calm.” Kerry’s gashes in the photos required approximately 30 stitches😰😫 Yikes!😱😳😵☹️😖😦😯
