4th of July weekend South Beach Grill and First Coast SUP invites you to the first annual South Beach SUP Race & Relay.
Saturday night July 2nd we will have a pre-race get together from 6-9 p.m. at the Crescent Beach Park pavilion next to the South Beach Grill.
Registration and check-in for the event starts at 8:30 a.m. The recreational race will start at 10 a.m., elite race at 11 a.m., and relay at noon. The race course will consist of a series of buoys a mile long.
Recreational Division – 2 laps around the course for a total of 2 miles.
Elite Division – 3 laps around the course for a total of 3 miles.
4-person Team Relay Race – each racer will do one lap around the course.
Cost is $30 for the Elite division, $20 Recreation, and $20 for the Relay (per team)
Cash prizes will be awarded for the winners in the elite division – $100 for 1st Place, $50 2nd place, and a $25 gift certificate for 3rd.
