There seems to be quite a pronounced fetch of wind just north of a dynamic high pressure off of Namibia and Angola right now, in our swell window, aimed at us. It is about 5700 NM away and the swell should get here in 10-14 days. What do you suppose the resultant swell will be? No doubt the sub-1ft long period swells we constantly are constantly getting are from the south Atlantic trade winds and was wondering if you are watching this rare flare-up of winds so far away.
My prediction is a 1-2 ft 15 sec swell from this fetch.
