Drew Baggett has an inspiring story. He started out as a small town garage shaper. As a teen he would doodle logos for his brand, appropriately named Inspired. He got a good following in Saint Augustine and was known for shaping boards for local rippers like Jeremy Creter. Every year, Drew would go to the Surf Expo and show Matt Biolos (shaper of Mayhem / Lost surfboards) his latest designs. The first time, Biolos recommended Drew become a school teacher. A few years later, Drew showed Biolos his new invention: cork surfboards and has now been making cork versions of Lost shapes which are being sold worldwide. Listen to this and other stories on our latest podcast.
