SS Team Rider Braeden Kopec competed at the 2014 Annual Governor’s Cup and ESA Florida State Surfing Championships held at Ponce Inlet October 11th and 12th.
He placed 2nd overall in Menehune Shortboard, just narrowly missing first place. Braeden took home 1st place in the Open Bodyboard division and 5th place in Menehune Longboard. Eight year old Braeden recently returned from the Eastern Surfing Association’s East Coast Championships held in challenging conditions in North Carolina.
He placed 9th overall on the east coast for 12 & Under Shortboard and 8th overall in Bodyboard. He was the youngest competitor to qualify and surf the Championship event. CONGRATULATIONS!
