The coming strong onshore winds will push yet more water into the intercoastal waterway + our canals & ditches are already full from much rain. Expect flooding, so do your preparations to keep the water out of your house as conditions worsen

Best to overprepare and not need it, than underprepare and wish you would have done what it takes to keep water out of your house. If you are in a low area that floods, use plastic sheeting behind the sandbags to keep the water from seeping through and into your house
