Wade Goodall Brings His Signature Style to New Vans Apparel
Professional surfer Wade Goodall has always been known to push the boundaries. Whether in his surfing, artwork, or filmmaking, Goodall brings his signature style to the scene both in and out of the water. His latest project has been an apparel launch with Vans, a team he’s been a part of since 2011.
If you’ve watched Goodall’s surfing over the past few years, you’ve probably noticed how his approach has changed. After suffering what would have been career-ending injuries for most, including a handful of devastating leg fractures, Goodall’s surfing has become a touch more reserved. His surfing is smoother and more powerful, less fixated on hitting punts with reckless abandon (don’t get me wrong, Goodall’s air game is still unmatched by most).
Goodall’s latest collaboration with Vans seems to reflect this refinement in style, featuring minimal pops of color paired with his designs. His original artworks combine with pops of color to create a unique clothing line fitting Goodall’s one-of-a-kind style.
