Good afternoon guys!!
I went down to help with a community beach cleanup right by my home break in St Augustine, Florida. I didn’t expect there to be anywhere near as much trash as there was. The problem isn’t just bottles and cups, it’s the microplastics. If you shake any kelp or seaweed leftover on the beach, you’re guaranteed to find these tiny plastics scattered within. How do you clean up something so small and vast? I don’t have the answers. But doing this beach clean up has inspired me to take a more active account of what I’m using and how I dispose of things.
CHALLENGE: I’m challenging all my friends and followers to spend 20 minutes this week, to go down to their local park, beach or somewhere in the community and make the place a little better than you found it. You may be surprised how bad it really is. Post the photos/videos on your social media under #trashtag and let’s keep this challenge going!
